Priti Sinha is one of the finest Bishnupriya Manipuri folk singer. She is originally from Hingala (Dullabcherra) Karimganj. She popularised folk music in the Bishnupriya Manipuri Community. She is also a great stage performer and has performed in various places in India and Bangladesh. Early Life: Priti Sinha is the daughter of Shri. Premananda Singha, who was a school teacher and a Bishnupriya Manipuri lyricist. Her mother Smt. Namita Singha was her first inspiration who introduced and encouraged her to follow the path of the music world. She married Mr Tridip Singha, a businessman from Patharkandi in 1997. Education: Prita Sinha did her eduaction till HSSLC and pursued her higher education in Music. She did her "Sangeet Visharad" from Lucknow University (1993).
