Vinita Singha is a wonderful Bishnupriya Manipuri Dance performer. She is a National Award Winner in Manipuri Dance who was honoured by the President of India. She is the grand daughter-in-law of renowned director, choreographer and teacher of Manipuri Dance, Lt. Guru Bipin Singh. She is a disciple of Guru Kalavati Devi who is the Head of the Manipuri Dance Deptt. at Rabindra Bharati University, Kolkata who is a recipient of the prestigious Manipur State Kala Akademi Award (2002) and Sangeet Natak Akademi Award (2003). She is also trained under Darshana Jhaveri who was honored with the Padma Shri in (2002) and is one of the founding member of "Manipuri Nartanalaya" which popularised Manipuri Dance in India with centers in Mumbai, Kolkata and Imphal. She is also a disciple of Shri Sanjib Bhattacharya who is a recipient of President’s Awards from Dr. A.P.J Abdul Kalam in (2006) and Smt.
