CONDOLENCES to Late Gopendra Kumar Sinha - First Ever ACS officer in Bishnupriya Manipuri Community & my Dear Grandfather
12 years ago, on this day I woke up to an eternal heart wrenching news about the untimely demise of my Beloved Grandfather. It had left all petrified & disturbed emotionally as we knew the void his departure had created for family & for community at large can never be replenished. Being youngest in house then, I had always counted blessings for his long life but it is distressing that not all prayers turn real. His presence might have brought many significant changes in our lives and for me particularly growing old has been filled with eagerness to learn his flawless orating skills.

Apart from having an excellent track of serving for people's civil rights, he was an author of international standing and was associated with many reputed organisations, he was always applauded for his shrewdness in handling peacefully the offset consequences posed by agitation/ unrest . Today on his 12th death anniversary I would take the opportunity of writing his accolades and journey on coming forward from a remote place to becoming the first ever Civil Servant from Bishnupriya Manipuri Community for Assam.

10. 1992 to 1995: SUB DIVISIONAL OFFICER (SADAR) HAILAKANDHI DISTRICT

Death- 26/06/2008

He would forever remain alive in our spirits and our family has always been in the forefront to attempt restoring the endeavors which had kept him immortal in thoughts since he had left for heavenly abode.

Bimalendu Sinha - The ‘Creator’ By Bindita Sinha Alpana in Ramakrishna Mission, Arunachal Pradesh  Bimalendu Sinha. Probably ‘Creator’ is the best suitable title for him. He is a fine arts teacher at Ramakrishna Mission School, Deomali. He was the part of the first batch of students trained by Dr. Mukunda Debnath, a well-known artist of the undivided Cachar District. He received awards in the under-20 age group category in the ‘Nikhil Banga Sahitya Sammelan’ in 1973, and got confidence and started to exercise his own style.
