Meet Aken Sinha, the lead singer, and songwriter of the band Archonist. Archonist is a 5 piece outfit from Delhi and Jaipur. A blend of Grunge with Modern sound and Classic melodies put under a bundle of pure aggression.
He is originally from Bhakatpur, Silchar, and currently resides in Delhi.
Professionally he is a software engineer working for Tata. He completed his graduation from Jaipur. His fondness for music developed back from his college days. He and his band released their first album (Mass Misery) with MTV India genre and they are back again in 2020 with their new album - (The Endless Highway) which is marked as an alternative metal genre. The songs have been acknowledged by many around the globe.
The band was featured in the renowned Rock Music & Popular culture magazine Rolling Stone, India, and also featured in Unite Asia, a popular website dedicated to covering news about punk, hardcore, and metal music from Asia. The website features reviews, interviews, and information about the latest releases from bands based in Asia or for non-Asian bands performing in Asia.
It is remarkable to see Aken Sinha juggling between his job and passion with sheer dedication. And having a metalhead and independent music artist in the community is indeed a proud moment who chose to follow a different path in his musical journey which is respected all around the world.

Bimalendu Sinha - The ‘Creator’ By Bindita Sinha Alpana in Ramakrishna Mission, Arunachal Pradesh  Bimalendu Sinha. Probably ‘Creator’ is the best suitable title for him. He is a fine arts teacher at Ramakrishna Mission School, Deomali. He was the part of the first batch of students trained by Dr. Mukunda Debnath, a well-known artist of the undivided Cachar District. He received awards in the under-20 age group category in the ‘Nikhil Banga Sahitya Sammelan’ in 1973, and got confidence and started to exercise his own style.
